Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Sarabi

Mother. A sound she would never quite be certain she would hear again. It made her smile for the first time in a long time as her eyes still swam in a dark murky sea. Coughing and blinking in an attempt to clear her world, she whined softly in response not quite able to find her voice but her exhausted muscles struggled to force her limbs to stand. Sarabi had never felt so warm in a long time. Everything in her screamed to run towards Natiya and embrace her. She no longer cared if it was a ghost or the reaper that would be her guide in the abyss the woman had never longed for another’s touch so desperately.

Claws scrabbled in the sand her libs shaking as her body swayed. Her tail wagged happily even if it was only slightly noticeable. She could see the figure becoming more clear as she took shaky quick steps tripping occasionally. Her whine soft and almost pleading to hear her daughter's voice again. Sarabi’s limbs moved faster than her head cleared aching almost as if she couldn’t reach Natiya or the ghost of Natiya. Her limbs moved into a wobbly sprint then staggering to a walk as she blinked and looked closer at the girl inhaling her softly. If this were a dream it was one she could live in rather than run from.

A soft whine escaped Sarabi’s lips once again, her muzzle burring herself into the fur of her daughter's neck running her head under his chin before leaning against her to slide down to the cool wet sand. “Are you real? Are we dead? I have been walking for years. I thought he would kill you. Maybe he did. Maybe we are…” Her words were hushed and mumbled sorrow burning in her eyes as she laid her head on Natiya’s paws. “ I tried. I loved you and wanted you to live. I failed you.” She spoke almost entirely convinced that they were both in the beyond and that her brother had succeeded in killing their daughter.

Sarabi was so cold but Natiya was so warm. The dark fem had just wished to wrap her body around the girl and permit this moment to last forever. Her body whining softly her tail wagging happily as she tried to stave off exhaustion. “I have missed you, my daughter,” Sarabi said softly with a sigh. Perhaps even after all this time, they could together again be in some shape or form. She owed it to her daughter if she would have her.
