Vanya dragged her slender figure up from the depths of the ocean with grace, despite the pall of exhaustion that was stealing over her form. Many adjectives could be applied to describe her, but physically strong was not one of them. This, combined with the fact that she'd swum from the Meadow to the Commons, then from the Commons to the island she now felt below her hooves.

Not to mention her physical interactions with Rougaru on the trip home.

They'd had their fun, and now she was just feeling drained. Tired. Annoyed. Pregnant. Perhaps luckily for Rougaru, her appetite for physically rebuking him had diminished to almost nothing somewhere along the path. This did not mean she had any intention of giving in to him. Vanya had no intention of ever becoming a meek or mild mare. Rou would have to work for every damned inch that he wanted from her.

A part of her wondered if he didn't enjoy the defiance. It certainly hadn't caused him to shy from her, despite her less than warm reaction to his appearance. He'd stayed close by for the entire trek, and these were the first few moments she'd had to herself since his blunted teeth had first marked her silk sheathed shoulder.

With a deep sigh, she slowed to a stop on the sandy shores of her new prison. Gilded though it may be, prettied up with a name like Paradise, it was still a cage meant to keep her away from the eyes of the world. She shuttered her dark lashed eyes to draw in a deep breath, and was intrigued by the scent of the herd. Many equines apparently lived here, and it would seem as though Rougaru was not the only adult male around.

Maybe her future still had some potential after all.

A new vigor fills her again, and she steps daintily forward again, intending to go about meeting the other residents of this new homeland.
