PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Ain't life just awful strange

a new world hangs outside the window
beautiful and strange
it must be I've fallen awake
I must be

Wasp listened to the spotted stallion with great interest now as he explained more about his family connections and where they were. She felt a wave of relief wash over her to hear Jetta was still alive. Her heart beat quickened in her chest and she couldn't wait to share this news with Macabre. The Peak mare was also relieved to hear the stallion speak to her in a more genuine and direct tone, for the first time in this entire conversation.

But it was the name "Diamant" that rung in her ears. Her sire. She knew his name of course. She had met him before, even if it was only once. Did that make this stallion her... uncle? Or second cousin?? Wasp opened her mouth, intent of pressing Argento further on this connection, but no words left her lips.

Their conversation turned back to Cullen and the Lagoon, and Wasp fidgeted impatiently in place as Argento took a minute to address the foal at Khar’pern's side.

She swallowed hard against her suddenly dry throat as she listened to Argento explain tensions among the island territories didn't used to be this way. A lot of what he said echoed similar sentiments from her dam. Wasp bobbed her head in understanding.

Finally, Argento asked her for her name. But Wasp was still somewhere else, trying to remember the details of that time she'd met her sire. All she could remember was it being cold on Tinuvel, and that Diamant was large and darkly colored, like her. She flicked her amber gaze to Argento then and breathed a heavy sigh.

"My name is Wasp." She offered, almost in a defeated sort of way. "And I think we're... related."

ooc: sorry to jump ahead. I wasn't sure if this thread was going to die or not (or if it already died) but I felt like it was important to get the family connection out there!!
