Eira still had a great deal of things that swirled in her head. She had slowly worked through them, and was better for it. There was still one thing she could not figure out as she considered when she met Noctis. It just didn't make sense. She huffed slightly through her nose as she made the trek home towards Glorall. It hadn't been terribly long. Days maybe? Eira had lost track when it all came down to it.
In the end, she returned home without much worry. The tang of salt on the air was familiar and comforting. Like her mother, born of the salt. This was home no matter what happened in the world. Her family was here and that's all that mattered. She was curious about what had gone on between her father and her older brother, but that was a conversation for another day. The brown and white female trusted her father's judgement, and if that was to step down and have Elohim lead, then she knew it was best for the pack.
Amidst her meandering thoughts, the young woman was jolted from them rather abruptly. Her mis-matched eyes spotted the younger wolf make a practical bee-line towards her. This was unexpected, perhaps even unprecedented, but as he got closer, there was no mistake of the look of hunger and pain in his eyes. Eira was immediately concerned. He wasn't a pup, yearling even, but still young enough to be close to his parents. Where were they? That caused a deep pang in her own heart. She could only imagine how she would feel if she'd lost Eden or Nari.
As he flopped over, it touched her heart more as she leaned to give him a gentle nuzzle. At least to give Moonshade some feeling of comfort in what appeared to be a very hard time for him. When he licked at her muzzle, she knew what that meant with memories of her own childhood. "Hungry? Let's go get you something. I've got a little stash not to far away. Should still be good," she said with a warm smile. Eira went to give him a gentle nudge to have him stand before she padded towards the cool spot between rocks that she liked to keep food for an extra few days so it wouldn't spoil.
