Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Her mind buzzes heavily as she tries to conjure up a plan to escape the den. She rushes over to the entrance and pokes her nose through one of the gaps between the branches, sniffing for any sign that someone else could be out there to help them. But there was nothing and no one. Thoughts quickly took a nosedive into a catastrophic mode as she pushed her shoulder against the bulk of the tree, barely moving it a centimeter.

Okay. Okayokayokay. She turns to pace in front of the entrance now though her inward thoughts are disrupted by the words of the elder she had sequestered away with her. Her head snaps up to look at him in the back of the cavern. Yeah, I could sustain myself for a while off of him if I needed to. He’s not… really my taste but survival is something I can do well.

Her eyes remain trained on him as he pads closer to her among the wreckage and she blinks several times as she snaps out of her thought process. He was kindly and polite for a stranger likely stuck in an ill-fated situation. Hmmm, yeah, he is so kind... I can’t eat him unless he agrees to it. She pushes the thought to the back of her mind for now as she hopes for a more merciful outcome for the old man. They would have to find a way out of here if she wished to save his life.

A slight smile is presented toward this… Tyrion as she answers his request. "It’s a terrible fate that I would save you only to doom you in the next instant. I’m Myrria.” She looks back to the barricaded entrance to her left as a strong gust blows through the cracks. He’s already seen her try to budge it with her shoulder and an elder like himself probably wouldn’t offer much more strength. She secretly hopes he surprises her with some strange bout of hysterical strength.

”There’s a larger gap… up there,” she mentions as she points her nose upward toward the corner. ”Maybe you could fit through and find someone bigger than the both of us?” She wasn’t against the idea of the two of them trying to move anything, but she had major doubts about it working in their favor.
