There are nights when the wolves are silent

It felt like mother has searched the whole earth for her father and finally they had gotten the scent of him on these stretch of islands. Who would have thought Rouagru would go so far from the mountains she was born and for what? Acalia was curious is he did have some other family he was chasing like she claimed he did. Some mare that used to be his lead mare back when her parents first met, that is who her mother claims Rougaru kept running back to. But why did he keep coming back? He came back log enough to set his roots, gain a home, and allow his mother to fight another for the lead mare position. Acalia was born the princess of the snowy land father ruled, but she didn't know her sire for long before he dissapeared.

Mother left their other siblings behind that didn't wish to leave the mountains and set off to track Rougaru down. She didn't know where he had went off to this time, but she was determined to find him. It was yesterday that Himena told her daughter to stay on the main island while she went off to handle some. Handle what she didn't know, but she could only assume her mother had found out where Rougaru was. Since a day had gone by, Acalia began grows the courage to begin asking every horse she came across if they had seen her, but no one gave any good answers. The few males she asked only tried to use pick up line on her.

She snorts, turning her gaze on someone new who scambles up the beach just as his voice rises above the annoying answers other were giving her. Acalia raises her ivory head and walks towards the mess of a stallion. She stops at the edge of the beach, eyeing the seaweed and sand that clung to his bay painted hide. He deffintly did not seem like a stallion who would start hitting on her for asking a question. "I'm not sure myself." She answers in a meek voice. "Some kind of island." She says as her eyes wander to the sea behind him. "Are you okay?" She asks as her colored gaze finds its way back to his atheltic figure.
