He was rather big, maybe he would be intimidating to the stallions he mentioned that might want to grab her. Lace glanced around until she finally saw a spot good enough for her. Making her way carefully to a cluster of vegetation, she laid down within the safety of it’s clutches. A sigh escapes her then, glad to be full and a small sense of safe. Resting her head down upon her front legs, the little mare was quick to fall asleep.
Lace slept most the day away, her body rolling over to be sprawled on her side at one point. When she did finally wake, she slowly sat up as a yawn curled her speckled nose. “You’re still here.” She murmured sleepily after it had passed before she raised herself to stand. Her legs were solid under her this time, a satisfying feeling after a wonderful nap. Lace’s gaze then went to the male. “I suspect you want something from me, to put so much effort.” Never one to beat around the bush, she spoke boldly and looked at him expectantly.
