Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

It had been a complete coincidence that Cersei had even noticed the girl, let alone had recognised her. Of course, Cersei didn't actually know her, but the girl had a distinct look about her. As old as she might have been, Cersei had a good memory, particularly when it came to those that she deemed as curiosities. The stranger was one of them: Cersei had seen her around Diveen several times, though she knew the girl was not a member of the pack itself. Yet, somehow, she had been given some kind of authority to come and go as she pleased. The confidence in which she executed her border-crossings had convinced Cersei that it had been an ongoing agreement for longer than Cersei had been a member of Diveen, so she hadn't questioned it. At least...until now.

Without Diveen beneath her paws, Cersei had a little more freedom to be overtly curious. Besides, she had been on her way back to Diveen when she had spotted Eira simply drifting through the forest, and she figured the girl might be on her way back too -- plus, Cersei couldn't turn down a little excitement, either way.

Cersei's approach was blunt and to the point. She didn't mess around with concealing her movements or shimmering up beside the girl. Instead, she approached her directly, head-on, with a waving tail and confident grin. At her age, Cersei figured she had the right to be as confident looking as she wanted to be, and to approach as directly as she wanted too. She did, at least, let out a bark of forewarning before she came into view, lest the girl had actually planned to remain alone. At least it'd give her a minute or two to start down a different path, right? Cersei snorted at the prospect of it. Being alone was, after all, completely overrated.

"Ah, I thought I recognised you!" she called out, just as direct with her words as she was with her body language. "I'm Cersei, a member there. I've seen you around the borders from time to time, but never got the chance to properly meet you." She gave a broad, toothy grin as she gave a swift bow of greeting and acknowledgement. In a way, Cersei made her suspicions - or rather, her questions - obvious enough, but she hoped she at least seemed friendly in doing so. She had no ill intent, after all. It was natural - wasn't it? - to be curious about those that came and went so freely.

cersei,
