She finds it strange, that despite all her fear, he's become her safe harbor in chaos of their life. Siobhan had long doubted that she would feel ready for this step, for this new life and yet here she was. As close to him as she is, Siobhan doesn't miss the way his body language changes when she asks about his own demons. It takes her a moment to try to place the emotion that wrinkles his brow and causes the slip of a nervous chuckle from his lips.

She waits patiently while he talks, listening with an ear tipped in his direction. As he begins speaking, a smile of memory ghosts across her lips as she remembers the conversation with Belikov, when he had first mentioned his mother. The thought of a chivalrous baby Bjorn braving the open ocean to fight the stallion who had taken his mother was endearing, if a little heartbreaking.

"You must have loved her a lot." She murmurs it to him, wondering what his dam had been like to have raised a son like him. He grows even more tense, and she caresses the dark fur of his cheek. For a long moment, she let the silence ring, but she can feel his reticence to answer the unspoken question. Eventually she steps back so that she can look into his eyes and lend him her strength.

"Whatever it is that makes you nervous, it is in the past my love." She pauses for a moment, letting the words sink in. "Our past decisions may have helped shape us, but they do not dictate our future. I want to know the things that make you hesitate, if only to know I am not the only one with things to regret."

She shifts forward so that she can wrap her neck against his own, and then settles into grooming his withers, ears cocked and waiting for her Bera Konung to speak once more.
