He paced at the edge of the surf until there was a well worn path from his hooves. Anger boils and seethes beneath his smoky hide, his words are inaudible beneath his breath. She wants me to kneel on bent knee before her. To grovel at her hooves like that of a disobedient hound.
"I am the Bear King," he growls as he puffs his chest. "I am born of ice and fire."
A faint call echoes through the jungle, just barely audible above the dull roar of the ocean's surf. Nyimara. With a grunt on his lips he heads in her direction. He figures she beckons him to her so that she can finish their argument from the other night. His tail lashes across his hindquarters as he makes his way from the shore and into the thick jungle.

He arrives just in time to see Sio approach Nyimara. He pauses just within the shadows and his glacial eyes narrow on Nyimara. What has she done now? With a snort he pushes himself from the shadows into the bright sunshine. He draws near to the pair and he begins to notice the fresh wounds that litter Nyimara's body.
His mouth falls agape for a brief moment before he snaps his teeth together with a snap. "What is this about Nyimara?" he asks with a growl in his throat. He comes to a halt and raises his head higher on his muscular neck as he eyes her. Then it begins to dawn on him... the way she holds herself and the fresh wounds across her body.
"Where is Ysabel?" he asks as he draws closer to her, his eyes narrow as they look upon her. With everything, all the turmoil and unrest, she had chosen this time to vie for the queen position? This was a time for all of them to come together, not to be torn apart.
