I have a potential option, though it’d end up working out a little differently. See, I’ve got a pair who I’ve low key been plotting for since before I even joined them, and think that they could possibly work into your plot with Torix if you were interested?
I can go into more detail, but essentially, I’ve got Tan Jala and Banshee, who up until super recently have been extremely close. Banshee’s decided to go off and do her own thing after Tan Jala upset her, and now he’s furious and wants to get her back somehow.
In this scenario, Banshee would be the one feuding with Torix in a sense. Tan Jala is very skilled at manipulation, (and he’s a weak coward, not willing to risk his skin to sneak into the Cove to see Banshee himself, so if Torix can be convinced to do that for him...) though it’s definitely possible that Torix sees through that. I could see it playing out that Banshee is jealous of what she sees as a friendship between Torix and Tan Jala, but at the same time, she’s super stubborn and doesn’t forgive easily. Tan Jala would definitely spin it like Banshee, for all her strengths and aggression, really needs someone (and he’s convinced that someone isn’t Solomon, who is the stallion Banshee’s taken up with. I doubt Solomon’ll be at all pleased by Torix approaching Banshee, so there’s possibity for additional feuding there if Love’s interested).
Eventually it could get to the point where Tan Jala reveals something shocking to Torix, and if he chooses to share the truth with Banshee, it’ll cause her to snap and attack Torix, even though he’s trying to help her, and maybe she ends up killing him in a blind rage?
I promise there’d be lots of drama, and it can be drawn out as long as you want <3 I could definitely see Banshee getting close to him, albeit not romantically, and this’d cause trouble with Solomon no doubt, and also add to the feels, when Torix is killed.
