"Vertu hér strákur minn," she whispers to her son, a soft smile trails across her lips. He has grown so much over the last few months and pride blossoms in her chest as she looks down on her young warrior. Sh lays her lips across his withers and nuzzles him one more before finally she turns from him and heads into the dense jungle. She moves silently beneath the jungle's canopy, beneath the brilliant colored birds and howling monkeys. This land is nothing she has ever encountered before, she has grown accustomed to the frigid winter's gusts and the mountain ranges of the Norđurland.
The trail beneath her hooves has been hardened by much use and this is why she has chosen it, she seeks out Aegir for wisdom. It is not long before the distant roar of the ocean reaches her ears and her heart quickens in her chest. Her and the sea are akin, unforgiving and merciless, yet there is a softness beneath the surface if you are brave enough to dive beneath the hissing surf.
She steps from the shadows into the bright light, her dark gaze flicks across the shores and movement draws her attention. She only pauses a moment before she moves into a trot, her hooves send sand spraying out behind her with every stride. Her blonde mane lifts from her neck and dark eyes glisten as she draws near to the red mare. She lifts her bald face higher on her neck as she stares at the mare for a moment, taking notice of their same stature and the way the mare presents herself. There is a confidence about her and an immediate demand for respect.
"Heill ok sćll," she breathes "Can I help you find something?" A bit of suspicion rises in her chest. These times called for suspicion, times of War, always brought about suspicion and unrest. Her blonde tail flicks across her russet hips as she waits for the red woman to speak.
