He stays in close vicinity so her attacks eventually hit him, but his chuckle turns into a laugh. Back hooves hit his chest and his shoulder as he swerves away. His hooves stomp on the ground behind her as a snort erupts from him. She wasn't responding in words so he decides he wouldn't either. He waits for her kicks to stop before driving forward and bumping his chest roughly into her rump. She could kick him again, but he would bite at the top of her rump as she did so. He was perfectly willing to fight this mare all the way back to the Lagoon if needed.
