The colt cried back to her in response, rearing up as he lashed out his front hooves. She giggled as the adrenaline coursed through her veins, liking the high energy situation they found themselves in. He was already such fun to play with! How dare their parents keep them apart! As she circled him and asked if he wanted to get into trouble, he gave her a naughty grin before lifting his head. When he asked if she really needed to ask, she laughed and tossed her head, her eyes twinkling. "No, I guess not." She responded with a grin in turn. As he charged forward, she let out a squeal of delight this time, kicking up her heels and springing up in little bucks. He raced beside her, daring her to catch gulls. When he said he could beat her, her own eyes narrowed in challenge as she snorted. "We'll just see about that." When he shoved his shoulder into hers, she flattened her ears playfully and lunged to nip at his ears before bolting forward. She wasn't going to give up that easily! She aimed to out run him but got distracted soon enough by a group of sea gulls playing by the waves. Grinning at Akela, she tore off toward them, laughter bursting from her lips as they scattered around her. Sand and water splashed up around her hooves as she kicked up and thrashed her head, enjoying herself immensely. "Hurry up, Akela, before they're all gone!" She called out over her shoulder.
