Zimri lingered by the border of the Commons. She had always heard it was a dangerous place to be. The stories she had heard and knowing the faces of the preditors out there. There was also the aura of mystery entwined with the danger and fear. Her heart skipped beats in her chest in anticipation. All of her life she had been afraid and running from something. This could be the time for her to step towards something. Face her fear and grow into what she had dreamed she could be when she was a child, become the mare she had wished upon her children.The blue mare finally stepped through the snow into the Common land. At first feeling there was no difference between the lands. Slowly the scent of more horses started to wash over her. The feeling of the world around her changed. There was more energy, both of fear and of joy. There was so much floating through the air here she could hear the voices on the wind of the horses who had come through this place. Curious, eyes and ears forward her long lithe body started to trot through the unfamiliar trails. There was far more here for her to see and explore. Which, in itself was strange for her. She had never thought she would be one who would explore. Life had proved her wrong, and now her wandering hooves had led her back here, only to take her to the unknown again.
Roaming through the trails, Zimri was a little disappointed to find it was only the thickness of scents that were of note here. Unlike the meadow, the falls, and the peak, there was nothing spectacular about the commons. She shrugged to herself and dropped her head to graze, humming gently to herself and lulling her own nerves to keep herself from her usual flight.
