The wolf growls deep within the confines of the stallion's soul. Primitive yellow eyes flash behind the multifaceted hues of the stallion's gaze. In general he had never found reason to fault the Peak mares; most, like Wasp, were self sufficient and rather wise when it came to decisions being made. Even the strict Khar'pern was proud with just enough common sense to avoid his wishing to cross her.

However this large mare was far from wise or even remotely showing any semblance of sense. Ears remained buried beneath the thick cream and caramel colored tresses of his forelock as she spits venomous words of Wasp. Teeth grind angrily behind closed jaws as he fights the urge to rip her throat out here and now for such display of disrespect for one of the few mares that had gained his respect. "I assure you Wasp is the only mare in the Peak that deserves to be leader. Much more than you little coyote." he growls, thick tail flicking irritably back and forth against his muscular flanks. This woman was as foolish and inexperienced as they come.

Ash dusted lips peel back to reveal yellow stained teeth as he takes a bold step towards her retreating form, careful to keep himself protectively between Vanya and the mare. "Your days are numbered peak mare. The wolf of the jungle does not take kindly to a thief in the night, even one as unsuccessful as yourself." he adds, stomping his forelimb upon the white sands. Yes, he would be seeing her soon enough.

Only when he is sure that the draft mare is gone, does his gaze return to the painted dove. A mischievous grin plays upon his whiskered lips as he turns towards her now with a playful wink. "Good to see Paradise is growing on you Vanya. I will be sure to remind you one day soon that you preferred me over that foolish filly and her empty promises." he adds with a light hearted chuckle.
