No sooner did Balor try to egg Kaliban towards approaching someone, any one of the lovely ladies present really, did something draw his attention. He had been about to speak again to his pack mate, yet his tongue was tied. He felt almost as though as a mosquito or some other such nuisance creature buzzed near his ears. Something was different, off even. The dark coated male could not place his paw on it. Whatever it was, he knew he had to find it.
His marbled teal eyes scanned those gathered. Some had already taken to each other for one reason or another, be it familiar company, new company, or something else. It was not any specific wolf or thing he could see. Was it hidden perhaps, or maybe just something in the air. Balor's gaze suddenly lingered on a space where someone had hidden themselves, though not for long. He followed the stranger's steps to the river.
At the same time, he felt an unrelenting need to approach her. With his gaze upon her, the buzz in his ears grew louder. Ah Ha, he thought. His eyes grew wide. This witchy woman was clearly the source of it. But what exactly did it mean? Either way, his large paws moved easily away from his pack mate and towards her, only to have met somewhere in the middle as she turned around to face him. He honestly had no idea what to say. Being this close, the buzzing seemed to subside. Clearly she was the cause of it. "Did you cast a spell, or did the world decide we needed to meet?" he asked. Balor was intrigued by Lethe even without knowing a thing about her.
