ᛒᚱᚨᚡᛖᚱᛃ

The shield maiden moves with purpose through the deep snow that blankets the crossing. A plume of steam rolls from her nostrils and fogs around her with each breath she exhales. Winter wraps itself around the Isles, but soon she knows they winter will give way to spring. And an abundance of life will thrive on the Isles once again. Dark eyes shift across the large expanse of land, and with curiosity she watches the homeless inhabitants of this place. A few mill around, some dig in the snow in a desperate attempt to find food, while others mingle and others remain solo.

A young woman emerges from the frothing surf, she only pauses to shake the excess water from her coat before she trots further inland. Lagertha watches her with a soft smile on her lips, another carefree soul moves into the commons, unaware of the dangers that lurk in this land. As if one cue, a Fjord stallion makes his way toward the woman. Lagertha feels her skin crawl as the man steps up to her and places his lips on her shoulder.

"Hver � fjandanum heldur hann a� hann s�?" she growls as she pushes her legs into a ground-covering t�lt.

As she draws near to them, she slows just in time for the man to introduce himself as Liland. Her dark eyes narrow as she looks at him. "Liland, it seems that you were not taught the proper way to introduce yourself," she pauses, "A simple hello will do, you don't need to touch her," she spits.

She then turns her dark eyes upon the girl and her voice softens. "Welcome to the Isles, I am Lagertha of the Peak. There are many beautiful places for you to explore here, and you are now free to do so."
