He leans against the rough bark of a coconut palm and his ears lazily flick to and fro atop his crown. Winter draws to a close, he can feel it in the thickening of humidity and the way that the clouds lack their dark menacing grey color. Glacial eyes remain on the horizon as he stares out at the angry sea as it turmoils and boils beneath the winter sky. A sigh escapes his lips as a movement draws his attention, a pale head bobs just on the edge of the bubbling surf. He immediately pushes himself from the jungle and moves across the sands, his eyes train on the stranger until the stranger begins to morph into his son.
His muscles across his shoulders relax and his eyes soften as his son moves through the sea and onto the sands. "Sauron, I am happy to see you are here," he says with a smile on his lips as he closes the distance to fondly nuzzle his son on the shoulder.
"How have you been?" he asks with a tilt of his crown.

Sigurðr stands just in the shadows of the jungle, glacial eyes watch the sea anxiously for his mother's return. He is about to return to the herd, when a movement in the sea draws his attention. Ears flick atop his crown. Who is this? He does not hesitate to push himself from the jungle and onto the hardened sand. He moves with ease across the beach and behind his father, who also moves toward the colt.
A smile tugs at his lips as he catches his father call the colt... his son."Hi Sauron, I am Sigurðr," he says with a bob of his head. He can feel the excitement vibrate his body as he looks upon his brother.
