Liland came for her, and she’d lift her head from her grazing, only to pace a few steps forward, when he began to snake her -- for all intents and purposes, his efforts seemed to work. However, the reality was she was trying to entice him closer. And just as she was about to let loose with a kick? Out of nowhere, another stallion appears, storming in on the scene like a freight train. It was startling, and sent her into a bolt, which broke into a trot. Half-turning, and pointing her ears forward at the situation, she observed the dispute.
But then, Firestorm came to a realization.
The golden stallion might have been more enticing, if he had expressed interest in her -- but he didn’t so much as cast a glance in her direction. He seemed more interested in fighting the stocky stallion who’d been pursuing her. Not that it mattered, though. With the hot huff of a breath and a twitch of her ears, the mare flicks her tail and then proceeds away from them, until they were little more than memories she’d easily forget within a day or so.
