Kalayani had waited nervously for the herd to return from the lagoon. For many reasons, the main reason was that despite how she came here and what Bjorn’s original plans may have been, the herd was slowly growing on her. It was still strange to her to be without her mother Indira but she was making the best of it. However, her mind was on the young stallion she had met for a quick session that landed her pregnant with his foal. She had to visit him before the child was born. She wanted to get to know him and to see if he was gonna have any interest in the foal she carried.
If he did she would need to find a way to let him be involved but she doubts Bjorn would be happy with him coming to these lands especially not after what the lagoon did to them. She did wonder if Bjorn was interested in her at all or if she had just been something he thought he could use her to get those foals back perhaps? But now that that was sorted what was she to him? Was she just an extra mare that carried the child of a lagoon that he may be able to use in the future.
She stands on the shore now watching the rising tide. Soon she sees one mare, Siobhan and she watches her before moving toward her. The others probably got back on a different part of the beach. are you hurt? Is everyone okay?She asks. She doubted this mare knew the colt that she bred with so for now left that unsaid.
