It's official. There is a pair. Yesterday, afternoon, I saw for the first time the female Merlin. She is noticeably bigger than the male. They mated at the top of a tall Maple in the neighbourhood.
The male is being very vocal again today, flying over the block, near the old Crow's nest they have taken over.
