PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

It's Your Illusion...

ADELHEID

Adelheid listened to what Maraigh had to say, growing more and more interested by the moment. Each inflection and movement of her face said something to the dark mare, though she could not place exactly what it meant. Maraigh clearly had a love for a fight, but she wondered if there was anything else behind it, if there was something that drove her to consider something worth fighting for. As the mare continued, Adelheid had to fight back surprise at Maraigh’s admittance. Even more so as she continued. This mare was all but a stranger to her and still, Adelheid felt as though this could have been insight to the warrior’s greatest strength, and therefore her greatest weakness. She thought for a moment, and also looked up at the snow capped peaks.

She looked back at the more heavily scarred mare. There was respect for what had been said and what she had been through. Well. Then. I would hate to lose you to the cold. And to the heat. Or to someone cracking your nose in half because you could not feel it. The Vulcan did not want to use the mare as her family had, a tool or a punching bag. There had to be more to this mare than that. Even if a life could not feel, it was a life that could still live. When the snow thaws we can practice on the mid cliffs, if you wish. She shook her head and neck out, thick mane whipping around her. Much higher might not be wise for you, even in the summer. She pawed at the ground, studying the woman even closer, intrigued and truly curious to see her in action. Welcome to the Peak. I don’t think we will use you so… stupidly.

...A fatal contradiction.
