The lavendar girl was quick to answer his inquiry of her fish habits, and not for the first time this encounter, he wonders if she is the right fit for the Cove. Many of the mares within his walls are strong, stoic mares built to whether the harsh realities of life without flinching, and he is not sure that Darwin is this type of mare. She is far too innocent seeming to view the world through the same jaded as Daciana or Harmonica.
She responds to him with a brightness in her voice that is uncommon in this day and age and he is left without a way to answer her. Experience, perhaps? He assumed that was generally how the masses learned about how to live their lives day to day, himself included. But then he'd never wondered what fish thought or why birds sang. Solomon leaves it well enough alone, an amused smirk winding onto his lips.
Luck continues to smile upon him, and despite the hestitation with which Neala accepts his offer, it is still an acceptance. Once more his herd will grow in size and strength. Tinuvel was harsh and while you could survive on your own, it would not be a pleasant experience. To combat this, Solomon had filled his territory with an ever growing assortment of mares and it would not be long before his herd would rival the size of the Lagoon and Peak themselves.
Not to be outdone, Darwin also accepts his offer and Solomon inclines his head to them. The Cove would grow in number and strength once more. "If you two are ready, we can leave now? We should reach home with plenty of time to warm up before night hits."
