PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Ain't life just awful strange

a new world hangs outside the window
beautiful and strange
it must be I've fallen awake
I must be

Wasp's amber gaze flitted back and forth to the many voices engaged in the conversation. As one paused to draw a breath, yet another stepped forward to speak up. The dark bay mare had always admired the independent mares the Peak seemed to attract, and she never intended to stifle them or what they had to say. But all this back and forth was becoming nauseating.

"We could go on like this all afternoon." Wasp finally interjected, after Adelheid and then a dark mare she had not yet met - Maraigh - quipped back at Rade yet again. She snorted once, as her heavy head came to rise high over her withers. She had just recently been elected Prime Minister of the Peak, by the many mares standing all around her. But the weight of this new role still made her squirmish. All of it felt unreal. She thought briefly about what Macabre would do in this situation. Then she clenched her jaw and took a step forward.

"We'll take it under advisement and get back to you." She issued with the stomp of a forehoof, her stare falling to Adelheid and then Božena yet again. The rest of this gaggle could debate all they wanted, but Wasp had heard enough. She dipped her head once to the cream-colored stud who sparked this whole thing, then turned on her haunches and headed down the trail from which she came.
