Spring had come full yo bloom on Atlantis. Everywhere on the island birds harked the days while crickets and frogs sang in the night. Flowers unfurled their petals and released their sweet scents into the air, wrapped the creatures that lived there in thick perfume. Foals and mares alike froliced in the forests under the watchful eyes of the rest of the herd. Ailill, with growing wariness and responsibility made sure to keep his attention on the herd to the best of his ability.

The past months had been surreal for the golden stallions. He had promised the beautiful Rahsheda to care for her over the winter and help her to find her sister. Now the waters had calmed, and he had found himself with a child often hot on his heels. He dared not leave the filly’s side for long, and he knew he needed to keep to his vow. The stallion breathed a heavy sigh as he straightened himself from leaning against a mossy rock. With determination, he stepped forward, knowing he would still stand by both promises. Shaking out his body, he moved through the trees to spaces the herd tended to reside. Now that the storms had subsides many of the herd now roamed a little more freely, trusting in others to keep them safe. Ailill nodded towards many of the herd, his eyes eager for only one sleek black form. Rahsheda? He called as he moved, his heart skipping a beat in concern. Ever since he had come across the wounded mare that had birthed him a child he was concerned for others who had captured his heart. With a quiet snort, he continued is search for the mare, making sure to make a lot of noise so she would know he was there.
