PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

My Vengeance Will Be So UNREAL

Don’t you dare interfere me...
...slow me down or impede me.
Adelheid

Adelheid was never one to leave her sisters truly unattended. Keen senses watched many of them come and go so she could keep a semi-steady count of those who resided in the Peak and those who were simply passing through. With as many stallions within their walls as there were, she was even more alert. Though time has passed, she was still uncertain of who could be trusted and who could not. The idea of capturing the entire bachelor herd was a brilliant one, she had to give Bozena that. The timing could have been better, considering the number of foals that were about to be roaming the lowlands. Still, with enough vigilance she did not think there would be an issue. If there was, it could be easily remedied.

Grazing peacefully amongst the new grass growth, her attention was caught by movement off to her side. The painted mare who had joined them on the cliffs earlier in the season slipped away from the herd with her yearling. Adelheid exhaled a soft sigh and gave the woman a little space before following at a distance. She could only assume the other woman was distracted, and Adelheid was alert for any who might truly want to disturb the mother. Grudging, but dutiful, she followed and protected. As she walked, more or less alone, she played through what she had remembered about Spring. With a shiver, she recalled a falling body and a golden eyed colt staring at her from her mother’s side. A year later, her mother’s voice rang in her ears, a cry of exhaustion and fatigue. Adelheid’s ears flicked back and for a second she had to stop and breathe. Just as lives came into existence in spring, she was also no stranger to lives being lost. Shaking her head, she continued her pursuit.

Hard blue eyes looked up along the trail where the spotted mare had gone. There was not room there for many more and the dark mare hesitated. As hard headed, sharp tongued, and all around unpleasant as she was, Adelheid was not exactly mean, or stupid. From below, the Codebreaker let out a call to above, letting the mother know she was not alone, but could keep her peace if she chose. Every sense trained on the secluded alcove, she waited to hear a response of any kind to know how exactly the mother, who she realised she did not know the name of, wanted her to proceed.
