Re(4): HI 5

Yes, the fishy stuff is so ridiculous

My group had post 7 live for 5/5 on the 1st performance and there were other tickets where other(s) had the 3&6 live for pool. Someone blew game point with the 3 post and then it got hit when 6-post won the game, the Limonte-Douglas team.

I was discouraged and wanted to pass on the Jai-5 for the second performance, plus the typical test cases were too pricey as leg 1 was pretty tough with 5-teams that were all pretty strong on the simulation run. I kept trying to run some other scenarios to reduce play depth to get the cost down, and finally found one and we gave it a shot and got lucky on that one. There were 2-different teams we didn't have that blew game point in the final leg, Douglas team was one of those (so lucky there), and got lucky when the 2-team of Fred-Ikeda won game point (our 2nd ranked team in final leg). It helped that 3 of our best teams won in the 5-leg sequence. In hindsight could have hit it for much less, but of course never know that ahead of time...

Nothing fishy, lol, insulting actually when I hear that and insulting to Magic City too I'm sure.....just handicappers accepting the challenge that's offered of trying to hit a decent jackpot and using a sensible methodology, experience, and getting some good luck at times which always helps. If it was too difficult to hit the Jai-5, then it wouldn't get the action it does. It's probably considered the most popular wager at Magic City. The regular bettors of the Jai-5 are helping to build the jackpots and would like to get some of their $$ back once in a while......blind squirrels like me find an acorn once in a while, even if it's a small acorn sometimes. Please, enough of the insults.
