Exactly what I thought Ortuondo....depressing

That’s the thought I had when I got an email from the “local” casinos here in NC about their planned soft reopening tomorrow. They are Harrahs properties located on Cherokee Indian land, and part of Caesars corporation. The opening will be for invited players only to start. That won’t include me as I have not been there in a couple years and don’t have elite status with them or anything. But I wouldn’t want to go based on their description of the plans. First you have to show your invitation to enter the property. Upon entering the property, your temperature will be taken. Anyone with a fever is not allowed in and goes to see medical people on staff. Everyone inside the casino must wear masks, employees AND customers. All the things the video mentioned apply too of course, no more than 3 people at a blackjack table, every other slot machine turned off, no standing within 6 feet of another customer, etc. Also, none of the entertainment areas will be open. No concerts of course, no lounges. There won’t be any restaurants offering sit down service, you can only get food to go. The hotel is open, but they are only allowing ONE NIGHT stays. You can order room service. But any other non-essential parts of the hotel are closed. The whole thing does just seem depressing.

Also....CNN completely SUCKS. For lots of reasons, but the one in this video is the stupid reporter asking the RIDICULOUS question to the CEO of Caesars...”for people who say can I be 100% sure I won’t get sick if I come here...can you say that to them?” Give me a break! I am glad he basically told her that nobody in the world can make that promise to someone. Talk about a gotcha question. That’s all these so called journalists do, try to entice someone to say an answer that will cause controversy by asking an asanine question.
