Re(2): Best day so far at MC - almost $15,000

That's an interesting way of looking at it - the max number of people who could have cashed exotic tickets.

Even so, there are more new people in the chat who ask about 'how to wager?'. And a much better participation level than Calder and Miami, correct?

Another positive is that by allowing 50 cent tri's, that means that it is possible to have a positive expectation thru good handicapping owing to the approaching $1000 pool levels.

As an example of how good that might be, consider the method used by 'Sensei' in 'Ballet with Bullets'. (hosted by Tiger's Jai-Alai Heaven)

What you would do with that method is find a solid win candidate and combine it in exactas with the 2 most likely place choices. That's what he did - boil each game down to 2 exacta picks.

However, you could update that slightly by looking at the 'Pure Trifecta Probabilities' and replacing each the 2 exacta bets with the top 3 tri picks that correspond to those exactas.

Admittedly, that is an extremely puny betting level.

But my point here is that in my expert opinion, the betting pools at Magic City are good enough that a newcomer to the game could quickly read up on Sensei's philosophy, combine that with his own observations, and have a realistic chance of winning.

I wouldn't say that about any other fronton than Dania.
