Terra could easily count the number of interactions with others she had in her entire life. It was easier to be apart. The only wolf who really mattered in her life was her litter mate. To say brother would be a lie, as she knew of a half-brother somewhere in Diveen. The could be said of the term sibling, as there was a sister in Iromar and in Diveen as well. She had an unexpectedly large family that she had little to no interaction with. Perhaps that was why she was a wandering soul. Or it was deeply rooted within her, as Terra held onto the piece of herself that was truly identical to her lost mother. It had been some time since she had passed, but Faust had not given up on finding out what had happened to her. Ever the investigator. A small smile tugged at her lips as she thought of him while listening to Fledge speak.
A fellow wanderer? Some would find that rather drab, but the wanderlust was deep within her. Terra rather liked stories from the outside and had enjoyed her own brief ventures outside Moladion. She nodded in understanding. "Curiosity brings out the best, I think. Where are you headed for the message?" she wondered, as much out loud as to herself. Where Fledge might be headed was as interesting a notion was where he had come from. She might even have a vague knowledge of who he was to deliver said message to. There were endless possibilities.
She tilted her head as he described his own name connections. Interesting indeed this wolf from the outside. Perhaps Terra would need to go on more adventures to bring back tales. She was no story-teller though. Large groups easily became exhausting, especially if she found herself the center of attention. The young woman much preferred to observe the crowd rather than join it.
"I'm not sure my parents logic behind my name, but they both seemed to believe it fitting. Perhaps something they thought I would live up to, or something my very soul exuded," she said. Her sunburst eyes watched him, still curious as they went along. Such a genuine smile. Terra realized it had her smiling as well. This was the appropriate good company, though it did not change her personal feelings on being tied to any one place. Perhaps to an individual if she chose it, but she still had years before she found someone to wander with. She didn't even mind the lingering gaze. Terra stood out just a little bit after all. She had not seen another colored as she was, so stares were to be expected, intentional or not. "To be frank, I have always felt at one with the Earth, ever shifting and changing beneath our paws. I'd love to know everything about her, but she is so vast, I would only barely scratch the surface," Terra spoke thoughtfully. Such an odd conversation, she thought, but it was worth the effort for once.
