PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

They each offered a soft nicker, politely and warmly inviting her closer. Nekharat obliged, slowly ambling toward the group, the tall grasses lightly brushing against her narrow red ribcage as she approached. Her slender ears pricked forward as she listened, glad to be privy to some new information. Perhaps she’d finally learn some answers to the questions that had been floating around in her mind these last few weeks.

This was a reunion, first and foremost, and Wasp welcomed the former sister back wholeheartedly. Though, she also spoke of great change—recent change. Nekharat looked toward the leader of the Vulcans at mention of this, mirroring Oswin’s interest in the subject.

The red Akhal-Teke had no personal history in regard to the Peak (at least, that she was aware of). Her father had never spoken of Black Heart Machine or her leadership and dedication toward bringing about real change for the islands. Instead Nekharat felt something like instinct within her heart as she listened. For now, her interest in the Peak manifested as a burning curiosity—a desire to learn as much as she could so that she could perhaps offer her assistance in some way. She needed to be useful, to leave her mark upon the world—ideally in a way that would be impactful.

Yes, she would find a way to shape the future. And this was only the beginning.

NEKHARAT
