Bill: And that's why Harry Truman authorized the nuclear attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Casualties in a conventional over the beach invasion would have been over a million, the country would not stand for it, if other means were available. Let the anti-nuke crowd weep and moan, it was necessary and right.
