Why was she here exactly? Oh yes, she wanted to see her father. She had almost forgotten the reason her legs brought her to the main island, but something in this young stallion made her remember. The way he moves, the way he reacts, his mannerisms remind her of Angel. She felt the need to push her home life onto him, the need to show support for her current Queen. Just maybe he would decide to meet Xiomara for himself and fall in love as she has. Maybe he would be curious to see the aftermath of the hurricane. One thing she didn't expect to do was string him along like her mother had done to her timid father.
Galexia was far from ready for a relationship. Hell, she might never be ready. She wanted to be like her Queen who stood strong without the support of the male species. Sure, she had Angel as a follower and a colt about her age who kept showing up to chat her up, but she didn't need them. She honestly didn't need any of them to be powerful. Her golden head nods at the young male as he questions there being more than one island. "There are four more surrounding this one." She watches his reaction with a smug smirk. It was fun to have the upper hand to a newcomer.
She then comments on his show of respect. Honestly, Galexia was too young to know the true meaning of the word, but she thought he knew. He may be right in the way his mother raised him. "Really?" She questions after he stated his mother had taught him to avert his gaze to show respect. Has she been doing it wrong this whole time? Well, she wasn't about to let him know this. She kept her head high as with her shoulders, trying to compare to his much taller stature. Now that they were staring at each other so intensely she figured he may have actually been right. This did feel aggressive.
Her lips part, but he speaks before she could get her words out. She could defiantly speak on this subject. "I could talk about her all day, but honestly seeing her is even better." She was feeling quite excited to show Xiomara off to him. "I could show you the way to the Shore if you would like to see it, but I'll tell you it isn't as beautiful as it usually is right now. The hurricane destroyed a lot of the land, but it will get better with some time." Her ivory tail sways back and forth behind her as her eyes gleam with excitement. Oh, but then she remembers the whole reason she came here again.
"Oh but I am currently on a mission so I can't go home yet." Blue didn't seem like the type to be a good aid on a mission so she didn't offer up any more details. |
