Elohim eyed her carefully. If he agreed with what she was bringing forward? He wasn't entirely surprised. Of course she had an ulterior motive, or at least some kind of desire to create an advantageous position for herself. From a distance, he had always considered her carefully. She had the energy of somebody who others would consider useful. Elohim, however, seldom liked to see others as 'useful' or otherwise. Who was she as an individual, rather than a collection of possibilities or potentials? Natiya had taught him to look beyond those facets.
Then, she immediately revealed her hand to him. He smirked, but it quickly became an honest and amused grin. Underidge, the Thorn of Glorall. He supposed it was a topic he had to worry about eventually. Eden and Underidge's relationship was a foreign thing to Elohim, something he had never been totally able to understand. Now, at least, he had a better understanding of his relationship with Underidge.
"And if you were the Thorn, you would not be a a wolf who refuses to follow or who believes I have done something underhanded to attain my position?" He paused when he asked her, his head having jerked to a tilt as he searched her face and settled on her eyes. His face was more...present, much more keen on her than his prior mission. At least, for the time being. Natiya still tugged at the corners of his mind, but at least Matianak had given him something worthy to be distracted by.
He shifted, and then began to pace forward once again. He carved a harsh path towards the shoreline, intending to sweep down the coast and towards Diveen. Eventually, he'd have to formally meet with Arturio. Iromar was less of a concern, but he wasn't entirely sure how things would proceed with Diveen. Despite Eden's relationship with Arturio - another that Elohim didn't entirely understand - Elohim wasn't sure what the relationship was like between the packs themselves. For all he knew, his ascension might have broken apart some intangible connection between the two. Who knew just how much discord his father had sown when he had thrust Elohim up to the podium?
"If Underidge is removed from his position, he will still remain as he is now. It will only mean he has no title," he mused aloud, the slightest hint of a chuckle having slipped in beneath his breath. Underidge would be dangerous with or without a title, but would he remain dangerous if it were Eden who intervened? Or was Underidge some kind of challenge? "Stripping him of his rank does not strip him of his beliefs, after all. How does one proceed with stripping him of those?" His brow was raised, and he swept her a glance over his shoulder and smirked. Would she propose killing him? Or intervening using Eden, or some other wolf? Her, perhaps? Had she come with only problems and wants, or had she come with some kind of solution too?
