You have a valid point. I agree that with these rubbish changes (team bubbles, clinic and theater restrictions, etc) sooner or later the NHS consultant workforce will be depleted. Probably that is the main motivation of the college.
Trainees are already suffering the consequences of these post-covid changes, and I doubt many external fellows would be easily attracted to NHS in the forseeable future.
