I do agree, chordo, the strike was no more effective at ensuring victory than the Hostess strike was.
There were simply few frontons, fewer players, and a far smaller % of non-replacement players afterwards. Even Milford, without an "official strike" as the were closed at its inception, featured many players recognized as Bridgeport jai alai "replacement players" on an ongoing basis. Replies:
