He was over the moon to be a father finally with the love of his life but he knew his job was far from over. There was nothing wrong with Paradise, but Dex felt sometimes that Talien missed the Bay, or at least wanted to be somewhere else. Maybe she just didn't feel at home on Atlantis and that was good enough for him. If she wanted to go elsewhere, he would find them a home. But where? Not too many herds would be tolerant of another stallion who already had a family at his flanks. He wasn't expecting to be handed a title or anything like that. He just wanted a safe place to hang his head where Talien felt it was home and they could raise Chronos peacefully. No matter how long he had to search, he would do it. He would do anything for her.
His long legs ate up the distance between Atlantis and the mainland and as he pranced up on shore, he snorted and gave his coat a good shake. The summer sun felt good on his short coat as he sprinted off across the meadow, wondering who he might run into.
