"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Pages Of Ink... (Sciannath)

[ female | newborn | 16.1hh | silver black pintaloosa | wild and free ]

Days had risen and fallen, everyday a new adventure and every night a new dream. There was nothing to truly show the passing of time, even the rise and fall of the sun had blurred together. In the beginning of life, though it had been half her life, Claudya could barely remember a time Sciannath was not around. Not that she cared. Having the colt around was possibly the best thing to happen in her short life. She had grown attached to him, as glued to him as the filly could be glued to anything.

This morning, the silvery spotted filly rose before her mother and decided she wanted to go on an adventure. Never one to want to explore alone, the filly shuffled over to Sciannath. Nudging him she silently nodded suggestively, inviting him along on her shenannigans. Without a word she attempted to tip-toe out of the shelter of stone and trees they had begun to call their sanctuary. Subtly was not her strong suit as her awkward limbs still occasionally tangled with themselves and she tried to ‘sneak’ through the clustered pine trees instead of taking the clear trail out of the natural alcove. She did not notice Adelheid’s alert attention following her every move.

Freed of the trees and stone, Claudya tossed up her head and heels, racing around to embrace her freedom. At first she had no clear direction, simply enjoying the morning and the ability to race and roll through the grass. She could not control herself. A squeal of pure childish delight peeled from her lips as she rolled through clover and grass. Once on her hooves again bits and pieces of the hardy flowers clung to her tufting dark mane. As soon as she was steady she dashed off again, prancing through the shallow brooks that broke up the lowlands of the Peak.

She stopped for a moment, ankle deep in running water and looked around. With a heavy sigh she looked up at the mountains rising from the ground. A slow smirk spread across her lips. Maybe today was the day she would finally get to the cliffs! Her attention suddenly all consumed, she flicked her tail and started to trot up the path that led into mountains. Determination set in her features. She was going to make it up! All the way to the top!
