PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Ain't life just awful strange

a new world hangs outside the window
beautiful and strange
it must be I've fallen awake
I must be

The dark mare watched as the lean stallion tensed and struggled with how to answer her question. She was too tired to press him further, or to show any threat of aggression if he chose not to respond at all. Instead, she stood coolly in his presence, her demeanor mostly neutral, more tired than anything else. But her weary amber eyes remained transfixed on him, watching for any sign of something interesting.

Wasp knew right away, as they stood at the surf on the Shore, that this stallion meant something to Xiomara. He too, was loyal to her. It would be naive for the Peak mare to think she could wedge between them in the short time he would likely spend here. But it didn't hurt to try to get to know him, she mused.

Her dark brown ears flicked forward when Angel finally began to speak. He mentioned Paradise and the Inlet before he lead her back to the Shore. For a second, her jaws clenched. Did Xiomara have ties to Rougaru? And perhaps Warsaw in the Inlet? She knew the warrior mare was involved in the war, but how Warsaw's interests in squashing mares in power helped her, she had no clue. It just befuddled her more. Wasp snorted once as she processed this new information, but she bobbed her head in understanding.

"Paradise... the Inlet... Those are her... allies?" She asked, with her head cocked to one side. "Why? I though those stallions didn't like mares in power." She blinked quickly, to rid the tired haze from her blurring lenses and continued to focus on the skittish stallion. But before long, she breathed a heavy sigh, rest becoming too great to ignore any longer.

"No harm will come to you here, Angel. We aren't that kind." She said softly. "Please. Make yourself at home for the time being. I'm sure it won't be that long before your friend comes for you."
