PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Ain't life just awful strange

a new world hangs outside the window
beautiful and strange
it must be I've fallen awake
I must be

Wasp couldn't hide the amused look on her face when her compliment cast the desired effect - Adelheid reeled back in disgust. She breathed a hearty laugh, before settling into a relaxed position, with her head low in line with her withers, and her stare steadfast on the animated filly. The young girl bounded over, then allow of a sudden, exploded with spindly legs flying in every which direction. Startled somewhat, Wasp yanked her heavy head high into the air with a snort, but giggled in the aftermath as the filly tore off around Adelheid.

The birthing season brought a new sense of calm and joy over the Peak, and it was direly needed. Even if Wasp wasn't one to enjoy foals, or want one of her own in any regard, the dark bay mare was pleased to feel the change in the air. They so desperately needed this break. The Vulcans just needed good things to happen. Adelheid and her newborn filly, this was a good thing.

But she can see the exhausted look on her friend's face, the fear of the unknown creeping in upon her. Wasp breathed a heavy sigh and took a few steps forward, carefully watching the filly prance around them, before she bumped her whiskered muzzle against her friend's shoulder in affirmation. "You're going to raise her to be a strong, independent Vulcan, like you. And like Jetta and like Inka." She said almost deadpan, with a serious look in her eye. But then the mare's expression softened, and she smiled at Adelheid, before looking out toward the filly again. "And you're going to do just fine."

Wasp only broke her gaze from the filly when she heard a snort in the distance. Her gazed settled on another freisian, a lean dark mare staring at them in the distance. She cast Adelheid a look before issuing a friendly nicker to the stranger, a mare she had not yet met. She flicker her dark tail over her haunches and looked to Adelheid again, who seemed to recognize her.
