Re(1): #40 Lejardi-Tampa & Miami Superstar Posted on July 10, 2020 at 04:34:10 AM by Jim
No offense, but your info is incorrect about the Citrus. He played in one, not multiple, Citrus events. And he pulled off a major upset in winning the Front Court singles in that one year. I vividly remember that being the biggest singles upset ever in the front court, and he just went for broke and scored with several remotes that year. He has that shot for sure, but in his career, he under used it.
He was a pretty consistent player, but someone said he had a wicked cortada. Also, not true, because he didn’t like the forehand side at all. He very rarely would throw a cortada. Totally agree about him being way underplayed in wagering, but given the Miami talent, it was understandable. I remember once hitting the superfecta for the pool at Miami with Lejardi and Echave, a total under dog team, and they played their asses off to do it. So that right there makes me like Lejardi...lol...moreso because he played consistently well, but lacked that one thing to really give him an edge. His game was under developed. Replies:
