one hundred miles an hour...
It was intriguing to watch the family dynamics between the two stallions. Whereas Rade was confident and full of action and justice, Fiero seemed more laid back and accepting of his fate, whatever it may be. He also seemed almost irritated by his father's lack of a plan, at least that they have yet to hear. Collision was ready to do anything at this point to regain his freedom so he could get back to his own mission at hand, finding Shenzi and making sure she was safe. Then he could worry about things like meeting back up with Kendry perhaps and taking him up on that offer to stay with him for a while. Maybe it was time to get back to a herd lifestyle over the bachelor lifestyle. Apparently it wasn't the life for him. Fiero wanted to know what Rade wanted them to do and mentioned that the Peak probably wouldn't want anyone of their line on the throne of the Lagoon.
Collision pricked his ears at that, wondering what the past was there but if they didn't offer it, then he would probably never know. It couldn't be good, based on Fiero's opinion. When he was done talking, the cream stallion stared off across the mountains like they held all the answers. Collision snorted softly and turned his attention back to Rade, wondering what he would say in response. The paint stallion's admiration for the roan only grew when he said that he didn't want there to be violence but that if it came down to it, he would stand against Cullen in battle, not anyone else. Collision nodded in agreement. So they needed a lot of allies. He didn't really know a lot of the stallions brought here from the Lagoon so he might have to branch out and see who he could reach out to. It was worth a shot, anyway.
The palomino's next words gave Collision pause, however. He said that the mares needed to know they regretted their actions and they needed to reach out to them and show remorse. Rade seemed to believe they could gain their freedom this way. Tilting his head, Collision snorted softly. "I am willing to try it but I don't think remorse will change their minds. The actions have already been done and they don't seem a forgiving lot. As far as they are concerned, the Lagoon is already guilty of crimes and that's enough." He didn't want to argue with Rade about it, just wanted him to know the feelings he'd seen during his captivity. As the older stallion turned to go, Collision sighed, ready to go about his own business, but Rade turned back with one more favor. He wanted to speak to the stallion who fought and lost the battle for their freedom. Collision only knew of the stallion, that he was Cullen's son. He didn't even know a name, but he nodded.
"I will try to find him." He offered. With that, he watched Rade leave before turning to Fiero. "Again, it was a pleasure to meet you, Fiero, even under such circumstances. I wish you all the luck. Hopefully we meet again some day." He offered a friendly smile and a dip of his head before trotting off further into the mountains to figure out his next move.
