He had not taken himself from the Dunes since they had arrived, leaving such things to his brothers Atair and Antares. Even Aldebaran hadn’t chosen to go. They were made for the sands, not for this place of such gluttonous greenery. The desert tempered them, made them lean and strong, showed them the power of the senses in the great wide openness.
He swims, travels through the jungle of the Lagoon, and in his contemplation over his brother Atair’s recent confession - he winds up walking the shores straight into the Commons. He knows his brothers will miss him, note his absence because the length of it, but he needed a place to unburden his own mind and release it to run free of pressing matters.
His blue-blackened self comes upon the liver chestnut mare after she had shaken herself and it wakes him from the drama of his home just enough that he has a sympathetic shake himself. His ears twist in opposite directions, curious about the language she uses - one he recognizes from some of the nobles they’d inherited in their conquests of the other desert lands. Her ears finally grab his attention and now he is certain of it.
"mainne avagya kee hai, mere devataon, lekin mujhe chhod do. mujhe kuchh paree bhej do." he smiles, approaching with a soft step and a gentle tilt of his head - stopping when he notes why she prays in earnest.
