PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Ain't life just awful strange

a new world hangs outside the window
beautiful and strange
it must be I've fallen awake
I must be

Shortly after Wasp's quick and casual greeting, a second mare appeared. The leaner, shorter grullo's interest was reserved almost exclusively for the older draft mare, and Wasp eyed them both curiously. She quickly felt out of her element here, small even, despite her title and lifelong connection to the Peak. Both of these mares seemed like they knew more than what they were letting on.

Nevertheless, Wasp stood coolly in their presence, attempting to discern their purpose and intention. Both seemed to be fairly familiar with the land. It made Wasp's stomach churn tight with interest. So many had left the Peak but returned lately. It was almost like a renaissance period for the Vulcan herd, to have so much institutional knowledge back among their ranks. Adelheid, of course, was one. So was Jetta.

She offers the shorter mare a short-lived but polite smile and a gentle bob of her head when she apologizes. But then the attention returns, or perhaps more accurately, is commanded by the draft mare standing between them. The mare offers up a few names, legends Wasp knows but had no met personally. A shiver runs down the length of spine as her curiosity grows. "I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news. But Inka passed several years ago. Anath has been gone for some time, too." She offered in explanation. "But Adelheid, our Codebreaker, is here."

Wasp studied them both then, even taking a step closer, when Impazienza offers her name. It rings with familiarity in her ears. "I am Wasp, the daughter of Macabre." She said with a warm nicker. "Welcome home both of you."
