Ratings and paychecks are nice, but they're not the whole story.

There's a difference between good-natured banter, discussion of something, or even disagreeing on something, versus slamming your co-host, being sarcastic and cutting them down.

It's the difference between attacking a subject and the other person's opinion versus attacking the other PERSON. D & P are getting personal, attacking each other rather than the subjects.
