"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

sent from the heavens above...

To his credit, the colt at Galexia's side looked alarmed by her outburst so he probably had no idea what he was getting himself into when he followd her here. Angel would have felt sorry for him if he wasn't so fearful for his own daughter's wellbeing. Why would she think to challenge mares of the Peak? She was too young! Too precious. When the buckskin stallion asked about the colt, the colt only offered a weak whicker, his nervous energy contagious as he looked to Galexia like she held all the answers. With a soft snort, Angel did the same, hoping his daughter would see sense and leave. He didn't want her involved in this at all. His daughter, meanwhile, looked just as radiant as ever, the picture of her mother as she danced to him and even smiled when he eyed the stallion in her company. Was she glad that he was being protective? She reminded him so much of Solaris sometimes.

At her question, Angel shook his head with another snort, reaching out to bump her shoulder lightly with his nose. "No, they haven't harmed me. And I wish the same for you, so you should leave, darling, before someone sees you." The sudden fire in the filly's eyes should not have been surprising but even so, Angel's ears laid back as she said that she would challenge the mares and set him free. His eyes widened in alarm as he shook his head again. "No, dear, you can't fight these mares. They're older and experienced. I'm fine. I'll be back before you know it." He tried to assure her, hoping he could encourage her to go back to the Shore. As she looked around, he found himself following her gaze, brown eyes taking in the shadows of the trees as if expecting horses to materialize from their depths at any moment. His whole body stiffened, though he turned his attention back to Galexia as she starting questioning where the others were. "I'm sure they're there, just not where you can see them. You must leave, Galexia." He again tried to coax her, his eyes almost pleading.

Then as if just remembeing his question from earlier, Galexia turned back to him, introducing the stallion with her as Kaiju Blue and saying he'd come to help her rescue him. Angel gave the colt a less than approving look, snorting before he turned his concern back on his daughter. As she told him to come and turned to walk back, Angel had an idea. Maybe if he went as far as the borders with her, he could coax her to leave without him. He had to get her out of the territory first. He started to go with her when he heard someone else coming. Instantly on the alert, Angel positioned his body between Galexia and the approaching mare. The black and white mare didn't seem instantly hostile, but he didn't know her and didn't trust any of them around his daughter. His ears pricked as she spoke, saying he couldn't leave without Wasp's consent. His skin trembled as if already anticipation the scars as the mare spoke again, telling him she would have to fight them if he didn't get them to leave.

He nodded, trying to look complacent. "I understand. I will ask her, but there is no need for violence. My daughter is young and too brave for her own good. Please, let me settle this." His eyes were soft, pleading with the stranger now not to try for his daughter for he feared he would have to make himself a non-cooperative captive and fight to keep her safe. It's the least you can do since you didn't protect her mother. The stallion cringed at those words even as he turned back to Galexia. "Please, go back to Xiomara. I'll be okay. Trust me." He begged her with all his might, his eyes constantly darting to the mare behind him now. If she moved to attack, he wouldn't hesitate to keep himself between her and his daughter. It was inevitable. He wouldn't lose her too.
