Daddy! Daddy! Daddy!

Her words are full of excitement as she crashes into him. A smile spreads across his whiskered lips as he wraps his neck around her vibrating shoulders. Her giggle fills the air around him, it is jovial and causes his smile to widen as he looks down into her eyes. She had grown so much in the last few months.

It pains him to know that he has missed parts of her childhood, from her first steps to her first words. As he looks down into her excited eyes he vows that he will not miss anymore of her growing up. He glances up at Sigurdr, who stands just a few feet away - and nods to his eldest son.
