Hawks in a kettle

A small kettle of hawks just soared over the house this morning. Two Broad-wings and what appeared to be two or three Sharp-shinned or Cooper's hawks. They were so high it was impossible to tell but I could see the flap-flap glide pattern.
They caught my eye at first because there was a lone Turkey Vulture circling around, and his companions became apparent while I watched.
A vee of five cormorants also just flew over as I was typing this. A sign that summer is waning -- in spite of the weather.
