The brothers found themselves wandering the outskirts of Asteraia when they heard the call of their mother. Floki groaned, not wanting to leave his good sunning rock but Ragnar sent a growl his way so he knew he wasn't going to get any peace if he tried to stay. His brother would be on him like white on rice in a matter of seconds. Sighing dramatically, he stretched out. "Fine. Come on, then. Let's see what the rest of the fam are up to." Rolling his eyes, the white and red male made his way toward the call with Ragnar in tow. His red and black brother was more aware of their surroundings, always looking around and eying anything that seemed out of place. As they aged, Ragnar only seemed to grow more feral instead of more civilized, his voice almost non-existant from lack of use so Floki had learned how to fill the silence with his own voice most of the time.
As they got closer, they could make out the playing silhouettes of Kweku and Sekhmet. Ragnar growled at the thought of any harm coming to his mother but Floki laid his ears back. "Down, killer. They're just playing. Kweku would never hurt her, not for fear of his own life." He assured his brother who quieted down soon after. When they caught wind of their brother, Kaliban, Floki snapped his head around with a scowl. His brother seemed to be up to something. He looked like he had something heavy on his mind. Snorting, he slid to a stop in the grass and pricked his ears, letting out a chuckle after his brother spoke. "That's all females so get used to it, brother. No one can understand them." Ragnar sniffed and sat down, continuing to watch Kweku and Sekhmet with a mixture of curiosity and puzzlement. They bit but drew no blood. What's the fun in that?
